Fossilised Tree Trunk Removal at Edinburgh University by Brown Demolitions Ltd
|
Our demolition expertise was put to the test with this project, when the call came in from Edinburgh University requesting the demolition of some "fossilised tree trunks" or "petrified wood" as it better known we quite surprised to say the least, but the team at Brown Demolitions aren't known for refusing a challenge!

Working over the weekend to avoid disruption we set about demolishing and removing the three fossilised tree trunks that had been insitu inside Edinburgh University campus building at Bristo Square for a number of years, the use of a mini excavator with a pecker attachment made light work of the tree trunks, although they did not break apart easily, as can be seen from the short video.
